The straight answer is : you are never too old to start learning to play the piano
Let’s hear what Pianist Robert Estrin had to say about learning piano at an old age:
If you think that you are doomed for life to not be able to play the piano just because you did not start to learn it at the age of 3, then you are wrong.
I did not learn to play the piano at age 3, in fact, I only started playing piano at the age of 17.
If learning an instrument at age 17 is still too young for you then consider this lady – Ms Beeghly . She picked up cello at the age of 58 and she had been playing it since. Now she is 72 years old.
She did not let her age to stop her from trying and you should’nt too.
